MY BLOCK HAS A MISTAKE ON IT WHAT HAPPENS NOW?...
SOMETHING HAPPENED DURING CHECKOUT AND I AM NOT SURE IF THE ORDER WENT THROUGH...If you do not see a page that says "thank you for your order...printable receipt...your credit card has been charged" then you have not been charged and you have not placed an order... however, the order is saved in an abandoned cart. IS THERE A FINISH ON THE BLOCKS?
I hand sand and hand polish each block with a satin beeswax finish
CAN I ADD AN ADDITIONAL FINISH TO MAKE THE BLOCK SHINY OR PROTECT IT MORE? Of course you may add what you would like but I can not be responsible for the condition of the block once it has shipped
WHY DO THE BLOCKS HAVE IMPERFECTIONS, FLAWS, GRAIN, COLOR & DIFFERENCES?
Each block is hand milled, hand sanded and hand finished so each one is truly unique in its natural wood characteristics; certain imperfections are natural in hardwoods and in most cases add to the appeal and quality of a handcrafted item; we will not refund blocks for wood imperfections, grain lines etc...

SOME OF THE INFORMATION I SUBMITTED WAS NOT INCLUDED ON THE BLOCK WHY?
The blocks are designed to include specific information for each side. In a sense, they are "standard" in that regard. Each text field will prompt you for the specific required information and that is the only information that is included on that side. For example, I do not include the hospital name on the side with the footprint and the City, State and day of the week, or "proud sister" in addition to the proud parents
HOW MUCH SPACE/ HOW MANY LINES OF TEXT DO I GET?
Keep in mind the more text you include the smaller the type face will become. Typically, a verse, poem, phrase or message of about 6-8 short lines (about 4 words/line) will work nicely... "May the Lord/ bless you and keep you"... "All good and perfect/ things come from above"/ James

WHAT IS INCLUDED ON THE SPECIAL GIFT MESSAGE SIDE?
This is the bottom of the block and includes the text "A Special Gift From" unless otherwise noted....YOU NEED TO SPECIFY IF YOU DO NOT WANT A SPECIAL GIFT FROM ENGRAVED ON THE BLOCK; OTHERWISE IT WILL HAVE THAT IN FRONT OF WHATEVER YOU WRITE. This is engraved on the block in front of names etc. Unless, for example, you were to type, "All our love, Grandma and Grandpa". If just names are typed ex: The Myers family, the block will read, "A Special Gift From, The Myers Family"
WHY IS THERE A VERY SMALL LOGO ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOCK I ORDERED?
The bottom of the block does include a very small "logo" with your webiste (not actual size; it is smaller)
This, I consider, to be my stamp on a hand made object, similar to what an artist would do on a piece of their art.
